Martha A. Strait passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. She was born on December 2, 1934, in St. Joseph, KS, to Louis A. and Eva E. (Bouley) Breault. Martha grew up in Concordia, KS, and graduated from the Catholic high school there.

On June 1, 1959, she married Mel O. Strait. In 1967, they moved to Salina, where Martha was a stay-at-home mom. She loved to cook, bake, and crochet.

Martha is survived by her daughter, Sheri King and son, Kenny Strait (Mary); her 7 grandchildren, Lucas King, Alex King, Evan King, Kayla Keep, Allison Hamm, Ashley Dinkel, and Anna Strait; and her 12 great grandchildren, Wallace and Thomas King, Conrad and Cora Keep, Aden, Owen, Evan and Ila Dinkel, Harper and Norah King, Olivia Hamm and Maggie King.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Mel; son, Joseph Strait; grandson, Conner King; and brothers, Isadore and Buford Breault.
