Marlene “Marty” G. Chance, 83, of Salina, passed away Sunday, Dec. 23, 2018 at her home. Marty was born Oct. 4, 1935, in Falun, to Ruth (Hopp) and Harry Gile. She married Douglass Chance, Oct. 13, 1956.

She is survived by: her children, Douglass Jr. (Wendy), Ruth, and Bryan; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Mable Bettenbrock; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Douglass; and son, Alan.

Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, with family receiving 5-7, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, at Ryan Mortuary.

Memorials may be made to: the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, or an Alzheimer’s Association of the donor’s choice, in care of Ryan Mortuary.
