Kay Ann Peppiatt, 60, of Salina, KS, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023. She was born on June 11, 1963, in Colby, KS, to Robert and Jeanette Weishaar.

Kay graduated from Colby Community College. She moved to Salina, met and married the love of her life, Andrew Peppiatt and together they raised three wonderful children. She provided daycare services for many years and later worked as the building assistant at Heusner Elementary School. She was also a servant leader who volunteered much of her time at St. Mary’s Catholic Parish. Those who knew her recognized her bright smile, contagious laughter, inspiring strength, and generous heart. She faced many health challenges in recent years but did so with grace and gratitude.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Andrew Peppiatt; children, Tayler Peppiatt, Alyssa (Tyler) York, and Clay Peppiatt; parents-in-law, Fred and Vivian Peppiatt; siblings, Kevin (Susie) Weishaar, Ken (Melissa) Weishaar, Sharon Stone, Karen (Aaron) Liudahl, Sandra (Eric) Denneler, Kurt (Lauren) Weishaar, and many loving family members.

Her Funeral Mass will take place at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 30, 2023, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 230 E. Cloud St., Salina.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation in Kay’s honor with contributions to the Salina Education Foundation to benefit Heusner Elementary School.
