Kaiden Foster Seiler, 9, of Salina, Kansas, passed away unexpectedly on June 11, 2026.

Kaiden was born on January 17, 2017, in St. Joseph, Missouri, to Cheyann Heitman and Tyler Seiler. He was raised in Salina alongside his siblings, Ryder, Tatum, Maddison.

Kaiden brought joy to those around him. He enjoyed watching Peppa Pig, going on walks, finger painting. Some of his favorite things included watching tv, cuddling, and being held.

Though Kaiden’s time on earth was far too short, he touched the lives of many people with his infectious smile, always happy, and his laughs.

Kaiden was preceded in death by his brother, Grayson Seiler; great grandparents, Wayne Foster McBride, Rex Newton, Glenn Eugene Smith, Ronald Ray Heitman Sr, Terry Kay Heitman, Evelyn Graham Bruce.

He is survived by his father, Tyler Seiler of Salina; his mother, Cheyann Heitman of St. Joseph, Missouri; his grandmother, Sara Beth McBride of Marquette; his siblings, Ryder Seiler, Tatum Seiler of Salina, Maddie Jonas of St Jospeh; grandparents, Ron and Stephanie Heitman of St Joseph; aunts, Jaden Heitman and Gracie Heitman of St Joseph; aunts Halli McBride of Salina, and Greenleigh Seiler of Marquette; grandparents, Kevin and Danette Newton; aunts, Tabitha Deghand and Skyler Schneider; and many other family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N 8th St, Salina, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Following the service the family will be gathering at the Salina VFW, 1108 W Crawford St.

Memorial contributions may be made to Ryan Mortuary to assist with funeral expenses.
