Joanne Ruth Pihl, 87, of Salina, passed away Wednesday April 3, 2019.
She was born April 10, 1931 in Shawnee, KS to Herald and Bernice
(Morrison) Maxwell. Joanne was a registered nurse for over fourty
years at the Salina Regional Health Center. She was an active member
of the First United Methodist Church and enjoyed being a cup scout den
mother for many years.

She was preceded in death by her son, John.

Survivors include two daughters, Laura Pihl and Nancy Pihl; three
sons, Doug, Jeff, and Jim; five grandchildren and ten great
grandchildren.

Memorial services for Joanne will be 2:00 PM Saturday, April 13, 2019,
at the First United Methodist Church in Salina with interment of ashes
at a later date. Memorials are to the American Cancer Society. Ryan
Mortuary is handling arrangements.
