Jason Robert Duffy, 37, of Salina, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023. Jason was born May 8, 1985 in Salina, to Micheal and Sarah Duffy. Jason was born with amniotic band syndrome. Despite his anomalies, he was an outstanding and dedicated athlete. Jason was proud to be a part of the Central Mustang back-to-back state championship teams. Jason loved wrestling and was a three time state qualifier taking third his senior year. He recorded 25 wins by pin in one year. He also was a state championship weightlifter. Jason attended Coffeyville, Friends, and Bethany.

Jason had a great love for the outdoors that included fishing, hunting, and biking. Jason had a big heart and an infectious smile. He had a love for animals, especially his cats. Jason loved giving hugs and family meant so much to him.

Jason is survived by his mom and dad, Mike and Sarah Duffy; his sister, Megan Hoover (Jayme), youngest sister, Andrea Duffy (Josh Wood); nieces, Lana and Lola Hoover and Gabby Wood. Jason also had many aunts, uncles, and cousins that meant a lot to him as well.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 25, 2023 St. Mary Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, 230 E Cloud, Salina, KS 67401.
