Jacqueline Sue “Jackie” Tipton

Jacqueline Sue “Jackie” Tipton, 61, of Hutchinson, Kansas, passed away at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, July 28th, 2018 while in the company of family members, at Buhler Sunshine Home, Buhler, Kansas.

Jackie was born in Newton, Kansas on October 5, 1956, a daughter of Betty Joan (Perry) and Gerald Dee Baerg.

Jackie attended the Inman grade school and graduated from Inman High School, Inman, Kansas in 1974. She then attended Brown Mackie Business School where she received her Secretarial Degree, Salina, Kansas.

She was a member of Buhler Mennonite Brethren Church Buhler, Ks. and was a former member of the Park Place Christian Church, Hutchinson, Kansas.

Jackie was a homemaker and she took great pride in providing for her family in this manner. She also worked as a secretary for Alliance Insurance Company, McPherson, Kansas, worked for Cessna Fluid Power, and Eaton Corporation both of Hutchinson as a Parts Tester, Machine Operator, and Parts Washer, as a laborer for Air Gas in Hutchinson, Kansas, Alco in South Hutch, and numerous other odd jobs.

Jackie was a member of Eaton Activities Center, Hutchinson, Kansas where she served as secretary. Jackie loved watching KU Basketball, collected horse pictures and horse figurines and had many candles. Her greatest joy was being with her family and friends and she always enjoyed catching up with everyone.

she is survived by her sons, John Tipton and wife Krystle, of Hutchinson, Kansas and Sean Tipton, of Hutchinson, Kansas; her brothers, Dale Baerg, of Inman, Kansas and Virel Baerg and wife Annie, of Inman, Kansas; her 3 granddaughters, Adalyn Tipton, Jada Tipton, and Ember Tipton; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Jackie was preceded in death by her Parents, Betty and Gerald Baerg.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Glidden – Ediger Chapel, McPherson, Kansas.

The funeral service will be held at Buhler Mennonite Brethren Church, Buhler, Kansas, at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 3rd, 2018 with Reverend Dustin Dick officiating.

Final resting place will be at the North Inman Cemetery Inman, Kansas.
