Isabella Escobedo

Our Isabella Escobedo was born in Salina, KS on April 2nd, 2013 at Salina Regional Hospital. She was narrowly proceeded in birth by her twin brother, Isaiah Escobedo, by one minute.

Bella had just completed 7th grade at Salina South Middle School where she was recognized on the principal’s honor roll and had performed at the Stieffel Theater in a rocking advanced guitar concert. Moreover, Bella had begun to explore her innate passion to help others this summer. Bella attended L.A.W (Leaders, Achievers, Winners) Camp which was hosted by Sedgwick County Law enforcement agencies wherein a certificate of achievement was presented to her. Isabella dreamed of being elected Sheriff and furthering her faith through religious studies in Rome, Italy.

When Bella wasn’t actively echándole ganas, you could find her watching her favorite movies such as Home Alone 2, playing outside with family and friends, stargazing, and enjoying her favorite foods with Blue Heat Takis being a notable mention.

Today, Bella enjoys the holy embrace of her Catholic faith as she now revels in the Lord’s Light. Bella was baptized at Sacred Heart Cathedral as an infant with Alma Esparza and Thomas Martinez named Godparents.  She renewed this sacrament in April 2024 when she completed her first communion at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Formalities aside, Bella considers herself Jesus Christ’s #1 fan.   A sentiment she continues to carry into the next step of her life.

Isabella is survived by her immediate family: Gonzalo Escobedo (father), Araceli Esparza (mother), Julisa Esparza (sister), Ayleen Escobedo (sister), Jasmin Escobedo (sister), Isaiah Escobedo (brother), and Abraham Escobedo (brother).
