Herman Charles Nestler, Jr. 91, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, March 10th, 2021.

Bud was born in Russell, Kansas on May 9, 1929, to the late Herman Charles Nestler, Sr. and Bessie (Golding) Nestler.

On October 17, 1948, Bud married Helen “Rita” (Kelley) Nestler in Russell, Kansas.

Bud was a many of many talents. He was a Saline County Undersheriff, railroad crew chauffeur, tv repairman, farmer, rancher, and worked in the oil fields.

Survivors include daughter, Kerry Bowell, (Ron), of Salina, Kansas; three sons, Larry Nestler (Elaine), of New Cambria, Kansas; Kelley Nestler, (Margaret) of Minneapolis, Kansas; Rusty Nestler (Lisa) of Salina, Kansas. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by wife, Rita Nestler and great grandson, Zane Bowell.

Cremation has been chosen and a service will be announced at a later date.
