Glen LeRoy Reddig

Glen LeRoy Reddig, 85, of Salina, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021.

 

Glen was born June 2, 1936, in Russell, KS. He married Laura Lee (Meyers) Reddig on September 7, 1958, in Russell, KS. She preceded him in death on May 20, 2006.

 

Glen was in the Army National Guard for 36 years, during his service he served in Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He also worked for the Russell Kansas newspaper for 17 years, The Koch Oil Company for 19 years and Durham Bus Services for 17 years. Glen was a lifetime member for the VFW.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tracy D. and Malinda (Brokaw) Reddig; 6 brothers; 6 sisters; and a great grandson, Jacoby Cool.

 

Survivors include his, children, Wayne M. Reddig of Brookville, Indiana, David A. Reddig (Diane) of Manhattan, Kansas;

granddaughters, April Long, Kandyce Clark, Amy Reddig, Breanna Reddig; and

great grandchildren, Balor Cool, Bailey Long, Sylvia Clark, Alex Roark and Audrey Roark.

 

 

Visitation will be 1-6pm with family from 4-6pm, Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 East Crawford, Salina.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, December 16, 2021, at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 East Crawford, Salina.
