Geraldine Frances (Norbert) Holscher

Geraldine Frances (Nobert) Holscher, entered into rest on Sat., Feb. 17, 2018 at McCall Manor, Salina, KS at the age of 95.
 
She was born on June 1, 1922 in Ames, Kansas to Armel P. & Susie Berger Nobert, Sr. 
 
Geraldine attended District 1 grade school Ames, Kansas, and graduated from Clyde High School in 1941. 
 
She married the love or her life Floyd T. Holscher in Wichita, Kansas on June 1, 1946.
 
She was a former resident of Denver, CO., Wichita, KS, Ada, OK, and Abilene, KS.
 
She was a Dental Assistant in Wichita, KS, and Denver, CO. for 25 years.  Before her retirement she was a life member of “Flight For Life”, St. Anthony’s Hospital, Denver, CO., Also she was affiliated with the Salina Regional Health Center and Morrison House.  Geraldine was also a member of the St. Mary Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, Salina, KS.  She was a graduate of Archdiocese Biblical College of Denver, CO.
 
She is also survived by her husband, Floyd T. Holscher, Salina, KS.; daughter, Christine Holscher, Salina, KS.; a  granddaughter, Cassandra Holscher of Salina, KS.; brother, Larry Nobert (Linda), Ames, KS.; sister-in-law, Margaret Nobert, Clyde, KS.; several nieces and nephews.
 
Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, sisters; Teresa Feight, Helen Morgan, Bernadette Anderson & Marie Nobert, Brothers; Dick Nobert, Armel P. “Zeke” Nobert, Jr., Jim Nobert, Damian Nobert   infant brothers Joe & Frank Nobert.
 
Visitation will be held on Mon, Feb. 19, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 4:00 p.m. all at Chaput Mortuary, Clyde.  Family will receive friends after the Rosary Service.  Mass of a Christian burial will be held 10:00 a.m., Tues., Feb. 20, 2018 at St. John’s the Baptist Catholic Church, Clyde with Fr. Steven Heina officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Clyde.
