Gabrial Joseph Pearson

Gabrial Joseph Pearson, age 14, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at his father’s home in rural Inman, KS.

Gabrial was born February 2, 2010, in Wichita, KS, to Rebekah “Becky” Blaine and Christopher Pearson, and was Becky’s only child. Gabe attended elementary school in Inman, KS, and continued his education at Ell-Saline Middle/High School.

Gabrial showed great aptitude in most things related to computers, technology, and science, as well as a passion for gaming. By 7 years of age, he built his first STEM laptop computer from a kit with his father. At the age of 12, he began skateboarding and soon after began building a half pipe in his father’s backyard. He began learning to play guitar when he was 14. He loved learning and always had a wide range of interesting facts to share. He was incredibly intelligent and always found great joy in making everyone around him laugh. He had a special love for animals and always enjoyed playing with his pets. Gabrial was kind, caring, funny, and loved spending time with his friends and family.

He is survived by his mother, Becky Blaine of Brookville, KS, and father, Christopher Pearson of Inman, KS; sisters, Grace Sears of Lawrence, KS, and Maggie O’Neal of Amarillo, TX; Godfather Corey Kessler of Hutchinson, KS; grandparents Roger Pearson (Janice Heckman) of Ottawa, KS and Catheryn McEachern of McPherson, KS; Aunts and Uncles, Sarah (James) Hoskins and Jesse Martin of Brookville, KS, Stephanie (Chris) Kamla of Overland Park, KS, Asher (Cassidy) McEachern-Stains of SanDiego, CA, Cory Pearson (Traci) of McPherson, KS, Denise (Phil) Spallo of Lees Summit, MO; cousins, Jonathan Hoskins, Jacob Kamla, Zachary and Christian Pearson, Katie, Sophia, and Vinny Spallo, and his best friends, Marley, Kolter, Gage, Chase, Jon, Spencer, Ty, Andres, and many more.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Rachael Lynn Martin and Joe McEachern.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 7, 2025, at First Covenant Church, 2625 E Magnolia Road, Salina, KS. Burial will follow in Brookville City Cemetery.
