Esther Naillieux, age 81, of Concordia, passed away on Friday March 16, 2018 at Sunset Nursing Home, Concordia. She was born on May 12, 1936 in Glasco, KS to Chester A. & Guelda N. (Litherland) Grounds.
She graduated from Concordia High School. She married Armand Naillieux on March 12, 1954 in Beatrice, NE. She was a homemaker. Esther and Armand enjoyed dancing together at different dance venues. She was a member of the Moose Lodge & American Legion.
She is survived by her husband, Armand, Concordia; son, Larry Naillieux (Anna), Concordia; daughters, Deborah Baltazor (Rex), Wamego & Donna Justin (Michael), Clifton; 5 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Sheldon, Stanley, Wayne & John Grounds; sisters, Leila Keim, Ada Smith & Joyce Thoman.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Tues., March 20, 2018 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia with Pastor Earl Hale officiating. Burial will follow at Nelson Center Cemetery, Huscher. Visitation will be Mon., March 19, 2018 from 1-8 pm with family greeting from 6-7 pm all at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to Sunset Nursing Home in care of the funeral home.
