Dorinda Sue Loges

Dorinda Sue Loges, 56, of McPherson, Kansas, passed away at 12:55 p.m., Wednesday, July 11th, 2018 while in the company of family members, at McPherson Hospital.

Dorinda was born in Salina, Kansas on October 12, 1961, the daughter of Dorothy Ann (Wesley) Brown and Billie Ray Brown.

Dorinda attended and graduated from the Minneapolis schools, Minneapolis, Kansas. She also attended Cloud County Community College, Concordia, Kansas.

She was a member of Crossroads Assembly of God.

Through the years Dorinda worked as a secretary for the family business of Loges Insulation and Rentals, McPherson, Kansas. She also worked as a secretary for American Farm Supply.

Dorinda enjoyed spending time with her family, drawing, doing crafts, reading-especially the Bible, and ministering to others.

Dorinda Sue Brown was united in marriage to Charles Robert Loges on September 6, 1981 at the First Baptist Church, Minneapolis, Kansas. The young couple established their first home together in McPherson, Kansas. This union was blessed with a son and the birth of two daughters.

She is survived by her husband Charles Loges, of McPherson, Kansas; her children Gary Loges and his wife Becca, of Nederland, Colorado, Crystal Hambley and her husband Tyler, of Mission, Kansas and Stephanie Klein, of McPherson, Kansas; her brothers Dwayne Brown and his wife Libby, of Minneapolis, Kansas and Darrell Brown and his wife Belinda, of Minneapolis, Kansas; her brother-in-law Dan Loges, of McPherson, Kansas; sister-in-law Nancy Carver and her husband Joe, of Phillipsburg, Kansas and her 10 grandchildren.

Dorinda was preceded in death by her father.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. at Glidden – Ediger Chapel, McPherson, Kansas.

Funeral service will be held at Crossroads Assembly of God, at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 14th, 2018 with Pastor David Case & Pastor Terry Turner officiating.

Burial will be held at McPherson Cemetery, McPherson, Kansas.
