Delmar H. Isaacson

Delmar Harvey Isaacson, 91, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Sunday, January 19th, 2020.

Delmar was born in Mentor, Kansas on October 20, 1928, a son of the late Almeda Caroline (Walker) and Robert Edwin Isaacson.

He married Velda Marie Reed on February 16, 1953 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Salina. He was an Air Force Veteran. He was a pilot, loved flying, and had his own Aerial Mapping business, and also sold insurance and securities.

Survivors include his wife, Velda Marie Isaacson; daughter, Janet (Rudman) Ham of Littleton, Massachusetts; son, Robert Isaacson of Lawrence, Kansas; and sister, Anna Currie of Salina.

He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Joshua Ham and Rachael Heilner; and 3 great grandchildren, Hannah, Allie, and Alex.

He is preceded in death by brothers, Joyal, Melvin, and Loren Isaacson; sister, Hazel Bogart; and great grandson, Thomas Heilner.

In honor of his wishes, cremation was chosen and no services are planned.

Delmar’s final resting place will be Prairie Mound Cemetery in Solomon, Kansas.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heart Warrior Foundation or Friends of the Salina Animal Shelter, sent in care of Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S. Ohio Street, Salina.
