David L. Spurgeon, 66, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2019. He was born June 17, 1953, in Flagler, Colo., to George and Goldie (Nicoles) Spurgeon. David loved his family, fishing, painting, puzzles, gardening, and driving a truck. Could not ask for a better husband or father.

He is survived by: his wife, Kathlyne (Lorenson) Spurgeon; son, John; daughters, Lucinda, and Kristi; brothers, Bob, Darrell, and Clearence; and sisters, Syliva and Jessie. He was preceded in death by: his parents; son, C. Wayne; and granddaughter Kelly.

Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7 at Ryan Mortuary, Salina. Inurnment will be held later.
