Daryn Wayne Blaha

Daryn Wayne Blaha, 54, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Thursday, May 28th, 2020.

Daryn was born in Wichita, Kansas on May 17, 1966, a son of Donna Jeanne (Peters) Blaha, and the late Clarence Eugene Blaha.

He worked at Mead Lumber, was loved and respected by every employee he ever had. He was a very hard worker. Daryn was also member of First Covenant Church. He became a holy ordained minister and liked to let everyone know.

Daryn had a wonderful sense of humor, loved his family, fishing, John Wayne and western movies, the Chiefs and the Royals. He was very proud of his kids and an all around wonderful man.

Survivors include his mother, Donna Blaha of Salina; wife, Lynn Blaha, of Salina; daughter, Calle Leister, (Cole), of Salina; son, Cody Blaha, of Lindsborg; brother, Danny Blaha, of Salina; sisters, Nancy Towler, (James), of Salina, Debra Aksamit, (Steve), of Bennington, brother, Mark Blaha, (Beverly), of Gypsum; and many extended family members.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm, Sunday, May 31, 2020 at Carlson – Geisendorf Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Daryn’s life will be at 11:00 am, Monday, June 1st at First Covenant Church, with Rev. Doug McHenry officiating.

In lieu of flowers, family requests donations may be made to the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association, or to First Covenant Church, sent in care of Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S. Ohio, Salina, Kansas 67401.
