Darline Delores Hill, age 87, of Salina, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2025. She was born January 6, 1938, to Lloyd and Alice “Pat” (Winsel) Campbell in Beloit, Kansas.
Darline attended Abilene High School and later Northeastern Oklahoma State University. Darline was a loving mother that raised six children. She led an interesting life with many career explorations. She was co-owner of an independent welding company, a bail bondsman and recovery agent, Wedding cake decorator and Phillips Lighting Warehouse worker. After retiring from Hawker/Beechcraft she enjoyed spending as much time as possible in her RV at Kanopolis Lake. She was a very creative person and loved crafting, jewelry making and cake decorating.
Darline is survived by her six children, Debra (Rick) Weber, Terry (Nicki) Shry, Becky (Anthony) Chaffin, Jeanna (George) Plante, Bill Graves and Lonnie (Karen) Graves, 17 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one grand daughter and one great grandson.
A graveside service will be held for family and friends on Sunday, November 9, 1:30 p.m., at the Abilene City Cemetery with a celebration of life immediately afterward at the Abilene Senior Center.
