Charlotte R. Hemmy, 77, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023.  She was born in Coffeyville, KS to Charles and Margaret (Crossman) Starnes.

Charlotte was the owner and manager of Western Sizzlin in Salina. She and her family ran the restaurant for over 35 years.  She also worked at Philips Lighting and was a baker for USD 305.

Charlotte was a real people person who loved to travel, meet new people, and have new experiences.  She will be greatly missed by the many people who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dick Hemmy; daughter, Melissa Wycoff; two sisters, and one brother.

Charlotte is survived by a son, Darwin Wycoff; daughter, Lisa Mostue; grandchildren, Daithin, Tabitha, Deaven, Daylen, Hayden, Holden, Dani, Tucker; 10 great- grandchildren; and numerous siblings and other loving family members.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00am January 6, 2024, at New Life Foursquare Church, 811 N Ash St., McPherson, KS.
