Charles W. “Chuc” Koepplin, 80, of Salina, passed away April 30, 2024.  He was born on September 25, 1943 in Mankato, Minnesota to William Charles and Edna Ivy (Lamp) Koepplin.

Chuc spent eight years in the United States Airforce.

He married Joyce Peiffer on October 17, 1963, upon leaving the Airforce, he returned to Salina, where he spent the rest of his life.  He worked for Beech Aircraft, Westinghouse and Philips Lighting as machinist maintenance.

He loved his family very much, left to mourn his passing, is wife, Joyce, of the home; sons, David Koepplin and Scott Koepplin (Thresa); grandchildren, Chesna (Matt), Erin (Russ), John (Jaide), and Kara (Bre); and great-grandchildren.

He and Joyce took many trips on his Harley throughout the years.

Chuc is preceded in death by his parents, William and Ivy; and sister, Kay.

Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, at Church of the Cross United Methodist Church.  Inurnment will follow in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.
