Anganetha “Nita” Ford, 80, of McPherson, KS, passed away at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, January 27th, suddenly, at her home.

Anganetha was born in Neuendorf, Ukranie Russia,  on February 11, 1938, a daughter of Katharina (Hildebrandt)  and John  Huebert.

Nita attended the Illinois grade schools and Moundridge schools.  Nita was very proud when she received her citizenship in 1960.

She attended the Eden Mennonite Church and the Church of the Nazarene.

Nita was a homemaker and worked at a Chicken Farm, as a dishwasher for Applegates Landing and Sirloin Stockade.

She was a member of the Midwestern Polka Club. Nita enjoyed Polka Dancing, piddling in the garden, bowling, shopping and spending time with her family especially her grandkids.

Anganetha Nita Huebert was united in marriage to Melvin L. Ford on January 2, 1955 at the Church of the Nazarene, McPherson, Kansas.

She is survived by her daughters, Rose Davis and husband Jerry, of Alpine, Alabama, Beverly Pangrac and husband C. “Butch”, of Mission, Kansas, A. Darlene Roberts, of Augusta, Kansas and Diana Blandin, of Hutchinson, Kansas; her siblings, William C. Loewen and wife Joyce, of Wichita, Kansas, Katharina “Tina” Peterson, of Canton, Kansas, and Lily Hedlund and husband Terry, of McPherson, Kansas; 12 Grandchildren; 27 Great-Grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren with one on the way! several nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Katharina; a step-mother, Lena Huebert; her husband, Melvin Ford; a sister, Katharina Huebert; a brother, Henry Huebert; a great-grandson, Jonathan Sanchez; and a son-in-law, Scott Roberts.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Glidden – Ediger Chapel, McPherson.

Graveside service will be held at McPherson Cemetery, McPherson, KS, at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, February 1st, 2019.
