Agnes Eileen Evans was born October 2nd, 1926 in Falun, KS to Violet
Lindquist and Dewey Richards. She married Richard E. Evans on October
3, 1969 in Salina, KS. In her younger years, Eileen went to art school
in Chicago, modeled clothing in Florida, and eventually returned to
Salina where she worked for NCR until the office was closed. She
enjoyed crafting and painting, contributing many hours to the St. John’s
hospital auxiliary. Having no children of her own, she was everyone’s
favorite aunt and she included the children of many of her friends as
honorary nieces and nephews. Eileen is survived by a step-daughter, Erin
Evans; and, many nieces and nephews.
Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Rich, and her
sisters Mabel (Mike) Mullen, Gladys Elgin, and Vi Moore, and her nephew
Pat Mullen. A private memorial inurnment will be at later date. To leave
