The Salina Police Department has released the number of firework-related dispatch calls that came in over the Fourth of July weekend.

Capt. Paul Forrester tells KSAL News that between June 26 and July 8, officers responded to 101 calls. No citations were given out for any of the cases.

Forrester said police worked to educate those who were involved in the calls, and there were no repeat offenders.
