The largest wheat protein plant in North America is now open in Kansas.

Governor Laura Kelly was on hand yesterday for the grand opening of the Amber Wave plant in Phillipsburg.

The company specializes in food ingredients, sustainable agriculture and low-carbon fuels.

Amber Wave is investing more than 250-million-dollars into the plant and creating 60 new jobs.
