Mud Citations

Deputies with the Saline County Sherrif’s Office handed out seven citations over the weekend to drivers who were out mudding in trucks on wet roads.

Undersherrif Roger Soldan tells KSAL News that deputies responded to multiple locations around Saline County – where pickup trucks where stuck in the mud on roads posted “Closed When Wet.”

Soldan says the  roads, “Don’t lead to any homes and will take a lot of maintenance time to repair.”

Vehicles were found stuck in the 100 block of of E. Granville, 500 block of N. Whitmore, 3000 block of E. Cloud and the 1800 block of N. Tressin.
