Police were called in response to a motorcycle theft that occurred on the 100 block of South Chicago Street Wednesday morning.

According to Captain Jim Feldman, the incident was reported to police around 8am by the Salina residents after they noticed their black 1996 Kawasaki 250R motorcycle had been stolen from their property some time between 10pm to 6am. 

The motorcycle is valued at around $1000.
