An argument at a Salina motel resulted in an arrest and a broken phone.
Police Captain Jim Feldman tells KSAL News at midnight on Wednesday, April 23rd an argument occurred at the Marifah Inn (1846 N. 9th).
Allegedly, 22-year old Colten Miller and a 31-year old woman who are acquainted got into an argument in their room. When the argument boiled, Miller forcibly grabbed the woman’s phone from her hand and smashed on the ground, breaking it.
A person living at the motel heard the disturbance and called police. Upon arrival officers came in contact with the woman and Miller at their room. After further investigation, Miller was taken into custody without incident.
Miller was booked into the Saline County Jail on the following charges:
- Robbery
- Domestic Damage to Property
- Possession of an Opiate
- Paraphernalia
