A missing woman in Emporia is found dead.

Emporia police announced yesterday that the body of 28-year-old Rebecca Rauber was found in a wooded area about 300 yards away from where she was last seen alive.

Rauber was last seen in the 700-block of West Fourth Avenue late Friday night after leaving a bar.

Authorities believe she died from hypothermia, and her body was found covered in snow.
