The Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks is sharing an update on wildfires impacting parts of the state.

Fires in Meade and Clark counties have burned more than 115-thousand acres and destroyed three homes.

Meade State Park was also closed yesterday while staff assessed the conditions.
