A former Kansas congressman has died.

Former Kansas Third District Congressman Dennis Moore passed away yesterday after a battle with cancer.

The Democrat served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1999 to 2011 and also had been dealing with Alzheimer’s for several years. Moore was 75-years-old.
