Former Garden City Mayor Troy Unruh is facing misdemeanor theft charges.

The Kansas Attorney General’s Office claims Unruh took less than 15-hundred-dollars from the LiveWell Finney County Health Coalition between September 2017 and May 2019.

Unruh, who currently serves on the Garden City Commission, faces up to a year in jail and a 25-hundred-dollar fine if convicted.
