A child is killed in a gas station crash and fire in Derby.

Police say a car lost control and ran into a gas pump at a QuikTrip at 1430 Nelson Drive yesterday afternoon.

The crash caused an explosion, which injured a woman pumping gas and killed a three-year-old child.

Police say that a medical condition may have impacted the person driving the car before the crash.
