Police are investigating a business burglary at a Salina convenience store.

Police Captain Paul Forrester tell KSAL News that a maintenance staff member at Casey’s General Store on West Crawford discovered that over the weekend someone had broken into the car wash equipment area and tried to pry open the coin machine.

Police are reviewing video footage from the scene and say damage to the door knob, coin machine and loss of a power drill totals $490.
