Salina Regional Health Center went into lockdown protocols early Sunday morning after threats were made over the telephone.
Police Lt. Andrew Zeigler tell KSAL News that around 2am on Saturday, staff received a call from a male who claimed to be on the way to the hospital with a rifle to shoot people. Police responded and no threat emerged.
Police say the man mispronounced Salina – calling it Sa-leena during the call.
There are no suspects at this time.
