Kansas Department of Health and Environment officials issued a blue-green algae warning for Osage County’s Pomona Lake this week.
The warning reportedly indicates that conditions are unsafe for humans and pets.
Meanwhile, blue-green algae advisories reportedly were posted for Big Eleven and Melvern lakes in Osage County.
