A Salina home that is up for sale will need a new AC unit after thieves stole the original.

Police Captain Jim Feldman tells KSAL News that the owners have been moving out of the house in the 500 block of South College and discovered on Sunday that someone had cut the lines on a Lennox air conditioning unit and removed it.

Loss and damage is listed at $4,500.
