February 12,1967

Two weeks before
A major blizzard came through
Two and a half foot snow drifts
Low temps about twenty-three below
Sometime around the noon hour
In Lansing, Michigan, a boy is born
The fourth of what would become five
Kevin Martin is his given name
Cole, the name of the family
Growing up in Texas
Serving his country, US Army
Traveling the country in a Big Truck
As he called it all the time
Giving the world two lives
Two daughters, two different states
In his heart, always loved
Always wishing he could be with them
Sharing his life with theirs
Stopping in Kansas
With the end slowly to come
Peacefully while sleeping at night
He is now with the Lord above
As we all say in a better place
Will never be forgotten
Always will be remembered
Kevin Martin Cole
Much love to you
Rest In Peace to my brother
