66 New COVID Cases, 2 New Deaths

There have been 66 new COVID cases and 2 new deaths since Monday in Saline County.

According to the Saline County Health Department there are currently 607 active cases of the virus in the community.

Salina Regional Health Center reports they have 27 patients in the hospital battling the virus.

Overall, 170 people have now died in Saline County from COVID.

An additional 175 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 this week, an increase of .4 percent.

A total of 27,962 residents of Saline County have been vaccinated, accounting for 51.6 percent of the total population.

The best way to stop the spread of COVID-19 and thus prevent mutation of the virus is:

  • Stay home if you are sick.
  • Get tested if you feel unwell, even if you don’t believe it is COVID.
