An off duty police officer saved a child’s life in a fiery crash along Interstate 70 in Kansas.
According to the Kansas City Police Department, office Yul Bean was off-duty and traveling west of Topeka earlier this month when he came upon the scene. A car was on fire following a crash with a semi.
Bean ran to the car, where two adults in the front seat had died. He smashed a car window to pull the boy from the burning carβs backseat
The boy was airlifted to a Kansas City hospital.
