The corporate offices of Waters True Value are moving to the Salina Airport Industrial Center.

The Salina Airport Authority’s board of directors approved a lease agreement with Waters, Inc. for Building 122, located at 3212 Arnold Avenues, Wednesday afternoon.

The Waters, Inc. corporate offices are currently located at 330 Otto Ave., the relocation to the 6,034-square-foot building will provide more space for corporate staff and operations.

The company is leasing the building for a term of 10 years with an option to renew two additional terms of five years each. The basic rental from October 2013 to September 2018 is $2,021 per month and $2,223 per month from October 2018 to September 2023.

Waters True Value is a 6th generation family owned company that was founded in 1894. Waters operates one of the nation’s largest True Value chains. Waters True Value currently operates 8 locations spread across Kansas including locations in Dodge City, Great Bend, Salina, Junction City, Emporia, and Manhattan. Waters moved their corporate headquarters to Salina in 1987 and currently employs approximately 250 employees statewide.
