Police have arrested a 16-year-old Salina boy on charges of raping a pre-teen girl.

Captain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL News that police were contacted by the Department of Children and Family Services on March 3rd with a report of abuse that occurred at the home of 16-year-old Chrishawn Moore, of 724 S. Front.

Police allege the crime took place in early February and have placed him into Juvenile Detention.
