Salina Man Hurt in Motorcycle Crash

A Salina man was hurt in a motorcycle crash near Bennington on Saturday.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 39-year-old Steven Light was riding a 2013 Harley Davidson motorcycle, headed west on K-18 Highway. HeĀ  lost control and crossed left of center into the eastbound lanes of K-18. The motorcycle overturned onto its side, entered the south ditch, and ejected the driver.

Light was injured, and was transported by EMS to the hospital in Salina. The patrol says he was not wearing a helmet.

The crash happened at about 10:30 Saturday morning, a mile west of Bennington on K-18 Highway.
