A rear end collision on Old Highway 81 and Assaria Road sent two people to the hospital yesterday around noon.
17-year-old Joseph Meier was driving southbound on Old Highway 81 when he rear ended a pickup truck attempting to turn onto Assaria Road.
The driver of the pickup, 41-year-old William Venable, was transported by EMS to the hospital for cuts on his head and cheek. Meier was picked up by his parents and also brought to the hospital for a possible concussion.
