Police are looking for a man who allegedly pointed a gun at a hotel employee.

Police Captain Mike Sweeney says that an employee at the Ambassador Hotel at  1616 W. Crawford approached two cars in the parking lot late Sunday afternoon.

A white male in a red Nissan 320Z was parked in the lot, talking with a white female in a yellow Monte Carlo. The employee approached, and asked if they were guests at the property.

The male in the Nissan allegedly pointed a handgun at the hotel employee. The employee backed away.

Both vehicles left, headed west on Crawford Street.
