A fire damages two trucks at Johnson Sand Company.

The Saline County Sheriff’s Office says a block heater is suspected as the cause of a fire that began in a pickup truck around 2:15am Wednesday morning on the company’s lot at 2100 E. Schilling Road.

Rural Fire District #5 and the Salina Fire Department responded to the blaze that also jumped over to a Kenworth dump truck parked next to the pickup.

There were no injuries.

Damage is estimated at $50,000.
