Salina Police are investigating the theft of a man’s personal items and cash while he was staying at the Salina Rescue Mission, 1716 Summers Road.

Police say 39-year-old Jason Hottman told officers that someone stole $2,000 in cash from a box he had in storage at the facility sometime between 6pm on July 5th and 6pm on July 9th.

The victim also listed about $150 in men’s clothing that was taken along with a Dell laptop computer valued at $900.
