The regular season for the North Central Activities Association 2025-26 winter athletic season is complete, with regional wrestling taking place this past two weekends and the sub-state basketball tournaments beginning this weekend.
The Sacred Heart boys’ basketball team won the 2025-26 NCAA boys’ regular season championship with a 21-2, 12-0 record, while Beloit finished 2nd with a 15-4, 10-2 record and Minneapolis was third with a 7-14, 5-6 record. Southeast of Saline finished 5th in the NCAA boys’ standings with a 7-14, 5-7 record.
Sacred Heart’s Lady Knights also won the NCAA girls’ basketball regular season title with a 20-3, 11-1 record, while Beloit was 2nd with a 14-5, 10-2 record and Southeast of Saline finished third with a 16-5, 8-4 record.

The Lady Trojan basketball team lost 56-48 against Sacred Heart on Tuesday. The Lady Bearcats lost 53-39 against Sacred Heart on Thursday. … The Bearcat boys’ basketball team lost 58-41 against Southeast of Saline on Tuesday.
