An Oklahoma City man who overstayed his room reservation at a Salina motel was taken into custody on Friday afternoon.

Police Lt. Andrew Zeigler tells KSAL News that 38-year-old Javier Beccerra was asked by staff to leave his room at the Days Inn at 632 Westport Blvd. Police were called when he refused to exit.

Officers used a key to enter and found him intoxicated.

He’s now facing charges that could include criminal trespass, possession of marijuana and interference with law enforcement.
