Anne Marie Branda, 75, of Salina, passed away Friday, February 20, 2026.  She was born in Salina, on September 30, 1950, to Catherine A. (Hafner) and Chet A. Henry Jr.   Anne worked for the Sheriff’s Department in surrounding counties for 21 over years and was one of two female Sheriffs in the State of Kansas when she was elected as the Lincoln County Sheriff from 1992-1996.

Survivors include her children, Jeffrey Sweezer and Douglas Sweezer (Jackie Orona-Sweezer); grandchildren, Megan McMullen (Michael), Zach Gonner, and Zayne Gonner; great-grandchildren, Makayla, Maddie, and Mia; great-great grandchild, Jasper.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and daughter, Kristie Gonner.

Inurnment will be in Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis, Kansas.
