Alcohol-Fueled Incident Prompts Arrest

A Salina man was arrested after allegedly becoming aggressive with police and staff at Salina Regional Health Center.

According to Salina Police, at around 5:00 Wednesday evening officers were called to the 3300 block of Ringneck Crossing to the report of person in crisis.

After officers arrived, 36-year-old Timothy Tribble allegedly came at them in an aggressive manner, refused to follow commands, and refused to be handcuffed.

Tribble was taken to Salina Regional Health Center  to be evaluated. While there he was again aggressive toward police, and toward hospital staff.  He allegedly kept telling officers he wanted to fight them.

Following an evaluation, Tribble was arrested and booked into the Salina County Jail on charges which could include:

  • Assault of LEO; Properly identified on duty
  • Battery on LEO; Physical contact with county or city officer on duty
  • Interf w/LEO; obstr/resist/oppose misd warrant

Police say alcohol was a factor in the incident.
